Let’s Get Together: What Activities Appeal to You?
By Doug • Jun 29th, 2010 • Category: Bulletin Board, From the Parish, Let's Get TogetherThe St. Mark’s “Let’s Get Together” Group is endeavouring to set up dates for activities in the fall, including outings to the symphony, theatres and evensong, in addition to ongoing activities such as movies, outdoor walks and other entertainments.
Possibilities for the fall include:
- TEA & TRUMPETS at the Orpheum with the Vancouver Symphony. This is a series of afternoon concerts which occur about once a month from October until June.
- ART’S CLUB THEATRE COMPANY ON TOUR at the Surrey Arts Centre in Bear Creek part. They put on approximately 4 shows each year.
- EVENSONG SERVICES at St. Phillips Anglican Church in the Dunbar area of Vancouver. Another event well worth attending.
- PLAYS at Metro Theatre in Vancouver and White Rock Playhouse. We are waiting to see the line-up of plays.
If any or all of these activities interest you, please contact Sue Indridson or Janet Cormode through the Church office.
A list of folks at St. Mark’s who are interested in walking, attending movies and plays, and other entertainments is also available — just ask us for a copy!
