Sunday School Program

Within the broad Mission of our Parish, the specific Goals and Objectives of St. Mark’s Sunday School have been defined as:

  1. To bring the knowledge and love of God to our Children
  2. To give our Children a strong foundation of Biblical knowledge
  3. To help our Children develop their own relationship with Christ
  4. To enable our Children to listen and follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit
  5. To foster friendships among the Children, and between the Children and the rest of the church family
  6. To encourage and facilitate Christian outreach by the Children
  7. To provide a safe, secure learning enviroment for all the Children so that each one feels free to express themselves and to enjoy the experience of being a part of the church family
  8. To assist parents and other concerned adults in their role as the primary educators and role models to the Children

Sunday Morning Schedule

Our Sunday school meets from 9:55AM to 11:00AM. There is time for singing, praying, bible stories, crafts and games. Afterwards the children join their parents in the Sanctuary.

We have a vibrant multi-age group of children who have lots of fun together.

This year we are learning how to be “Rock-Solid Followers” of Jesus. Following Paul’s ministry we’re learning how Jesus makes a true and lasting difference in our lives. The fun and excitement of an outdoor adventure camp is combined with the discovery of who we are in Jesus and the richness of His love and provision for us. It’s an Adventure camp like no other!

We have been building our forest adventure camp as we learn how to be Rock Solid Followers of Jesus. Just as Jesus was always with the apostle Paul, He is with us guiding and helping us on our way.

For questions about our Sunday School please contact the church office at (604) 535-8841 and leave a message for Wendy, Margaret or Kate.
