Heather Davies, Youth Director
Heather grew up attending church and received her education at Trinity Western University. After returning from doing a year of missions work in Africa she felt a desire to get further involved in ministry back in Canada. Thus when the opportunity came for her to work at St. Mark’s as the youth coordinator she jumped at the chance. “I wanted to work with youth because I am incredibly passionate about seeing young people discover who Christ is and their identity in him,” says Heather. “Working at St. Mark’s is such a rewarding experience as the youth are full of passion, tons of questions and wisdom beyond their years as they study the word of God. Working with them is undoubtedly one of the most exciting — not to mention fun — adventures I have ever been blessed to be part of!” |

St. Mark’s Youth Ministry is built upon the Word of God. We are passionate about impacting the lives of students within South Surrey/White Rock with the true and living God.
Youth4OnePurpose was founded on the base that everything we do is about glorifying God by speech, life, love, faith and purity. The high school students are challenged to live out the Biblical message in their day-to-day lives and to support those around them through prayer. We provide a safe space to ask questions that we may not feel comfortable to ask in other locations. There is no such thing as a dumb question! Our group seeks authenticity throughout. Egos and social status aside – we’re living for a greater purpose.

RETHINK SUNDAYS
Every Sunday @ 10am
Location: Youth Room
Sunday Mornings join us in the Youth Room for some coffee, tea and Bible Study. A time focused in on studying the Word of God, and applying it to our lives. Bring your Bible and we’ll supply the beverages.
REVOLUTION MONDAYS
1st Monday of the Month
September 13th, October 4th, November 1st, December 6th.
Time – 7pm – 8:30pm

An evening devoted to acts of love for our community. Baking cookies, feeding homeless, praying for people and having fun while we do it! We want to show people the love of Christ in tangible ways in order to impact our generation, thus revolution mondays is about doing small acts with great love in our community. WAC WEDNESDAYS
Every Wednesday @ 7pm – 9pm
Location: Youth Room
“Walking Along Christ” is our mission for Wednesday night’s. A great evening for those 11-17 years old to join us for a night of wacky games, uplifting prayer and Biblical lessons challenging students to be purposeful in their lives. WAC is always finished off with a treat, and possibly a game of foosball. Bring a friend and be ready for some games!
COMPASSION CANADA
Our ‘Sweet’ Mission:
Our Youth Group, through the generous support of annual fundraisers and our ‘Sweet’ Mission provides support towards two children through Compassion Canada (web, Facebook, Twitter). Everyone loves candy, and our group is no exception. For the low cost of 10¢ - 25¢ you too can enjoy a sweet treat. You’re more than welcome to pick up candy before or after any Sunday or Wednesday event.
FREEZING COUCHES?
Thirst with a Purpose:
Our couches are at the end of their life, so we’ve started a fundraiser. You are able to purchase Pepsi, Sparkling Grapefruit, or Water bottles for the cost of $1. All funds are going towards purchasing some new seats for our youth room. You are more than welcome to pick up something to drink before or after any Sunday or Wednesday event.
