Today we listen to a wonderful encounter of Jesus and the man born blind. Today is Laetare Sunday. Laetare Sunday is a joyful pause in the middle of Lent, reminding us that Easter is drawing near. Its lighter tone encourages hope, even as we continue our Lenten journey of prayer and preparation. Isn’t the pink pretty?
