Lunch Basket for Hungry Children

COMMUNITY OUTREACH MINISTRY

The Lunch Basket for Hungry Children is the premier program of the Community Outreach Ministry. Through the generous support of St. Marks, eight mothers and fourteen children are directly impacted each month by this important initiative.

The women participating in the program are referred to St. Marks through Sources Women’s Place, allowing us to be part of their personal journey toward stability and hope.

Children are able to remain in the program through to the completion of Grade 12.

This ministry began several years ago after research revealed that many children were going to school hungry. Since then, the Lunch Basket program has continued to provide meaningful support to local families in need.
