Think Before You Click

This is the scammer's favourite way to get your login details. It arrives as an email or text message with a link, creating a false emergency like, "Your account has been suspended, click to reactivate" or "We've detected a suspicious login, verify your identity now".

Scammers send urgent emails or texts claiming your account needs verification, with links to fake websites that steal your login details.

Red Flags:

  • Generic greetings like "Dear valued customer"
  • Spelling or grammar errors
  • Links that don’t match the official website
  • Requests to click a link to verify your account

Tip: Always log in through the official website address directly—never through a message link.
